When Heather Shepherd caters the spookiest party in town during Halloween, the last thing she expects is to find the host’s dead body on the back porch.

She’s shocked to the core and even more so when she realizes that the murderer can only have been one of the party guests. This time around everyone’s a suspect. Equipped with her desire to find the truth, a few snippets of information gleaned from the other partygoers and her specialty Spooky Choc Orange Glazed Donuts, Heather sets out to solve the Halloween case before the killer can strike again. But, as usual, things aren’t as simple as they seem: the maid avoids her, a teenager throws one tantrum too many, and a mystery figure is spotted hanging around the victim’s home.

Heather has to wade through red tape and catch the killer before it’s too late. Solving this mystery may prove more difficult than wading through a bowl of her cookie dough.
