That's taking living animals to a whole new level! Very interesting that the murder was committed by someone you really wouldn't expect.Another good read.

As usual with this series, the plot was twisty and the characters were fun and unique. My only criticism is that the author needs to proofread the book more closely. In this and prior works there has been a notable problem with using incorrect homophones. For example the little girl, Lilly, was referred to as a heroin, not a heroine. In an earlier book anout a murder involving archery, arrows were 'knocked' instead of 'nocked'. There are several more less glaring mixups in each book. My guess is that the author uses a text-to-speech program; these are notorious for getting the wrong version.

First off this author's books continuing to get better every time I read it. This book has a snake involved which I don't care too much for. I love the Intriguing of the storyline and all the characters in this book.

And interesting characters. I just wish the work was proofread better. The word 'heroin' was used in place of the intended word, heroine. That's a big error and changes the meaning of the sentence.

This is the 26th in the series and in this one Heather and hubby Ryan are looking to find someone who used a coral snake as a murder weapon to kill a poacher.. The murder had to first steal the snake from a pet store and then let it loose in the poacher. Jimmy Bob Jones was an animal poacher and hated by almost everyone it seemed, so this was a tough case. The saddest part was when they figured it out only to realize that person who did it, didn't think of themself as a murder because the snake killed him.
